Born in La Plata, Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina, on November 13, 1950.

EDUCATION: Bachelor in Chemical Sciences, Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP), 1975; PhD in Chemical Sciences, Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP), 1983; Patent Engineer.

PRACTICE AREAS: Patents. He prepares new patent applications of domestic clients related to Chemistry, Pharmacy and Food, and issues Technical and Patents Reports. He performs bibliographic and thematic patent searches in Argentina and abroad issuing technical reports. He is the Technical Consultant of the Legal Department in trademarks and patents lawsuits. He has been member of Obligado & Cia. since 1976.

BACKGROUND:He has extensive experience in Patents, and has attended several courses and seminars about IP-related matters in the most renowned Universities and Institutions of Argentina.

ACADEMIC ACTIVITY: Professor at the School of Exact Sciences, Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA), in 1976; Professor at the School of Exact Sciences, Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP), between 1977 and 1993; Scholarship Holder of CONICET and of the Spanish Council of Scientific Research (CSIC) between 1978 and 1984; Assistant Researcher of CONICET between 1985 and 1991.
