Born in the City of Bahía Blanca, Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina, on October 30, 1965.
EDUCATION: Bachelor in Chemistry, Universidad Nacional del Sur, Bahía Blanca, 1991; Postgraduate Degree in Organic Synthesis, School of Exact and Natural Sciences, Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA), 1991; Patent Engineer.
PRACTICE AREAS: Patent Prosecution. She focuses on the prosecution of domestic and foreign patent applications related to Chemistry, Biotechnology and Food, up to their final resolution. She advises clients on matters related to the patentability of pharmaceutical products in Argentina.
BACKGROUND: She was Patent Examiner at the INPI in the chemistry-pharmaceutical area between 1992 and 2003. During such period, she received extensive training in patent examination, by means of WIPO missions in Buenos Aires and training courses in the European Patent Office (EPO) (Munich, Germany), in the Spanish Trademark and Patent Office (Madrid, Spain) and in the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) (Geneva, Switzerland) in 1996 and 1999.
ACADEMIC ACTIVITY: Professor of the Intellectual Property Master at the Universidad Austral since 2008; Lecturer in workshops and courses at the Universidad Austral since 2006.
